Over 67,000 Power Stick Deodorants Recalled Nationwide Due to Safety Concerns

In a major consumer alert, more than 67,000 units of Power Stick deodorants have been recalled across the U.S. due to safety compliance issues.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) issued the nationwide recall on Thursday, July 10, targeting select Power Stick roll-on antiperspirant deodorants produced by A.P. Deauville.

The voluntary recall includes:

  • 21,265 cases of Power Stick for Her Roll-On Antiperspirant Deodorant Powder Fresh

  • 22,482 cases of Power Stick Invisible Protection Roll-On Antiperspirant Deodorant Spring Fresh

  • 23,467 cases of Power Stick Original Nourishing Invisible Protection Roll-On Antiperspirant Deodorant

According to the FDA, the recall was prompted by “cGMP deviations”, referring to violations of Current Good Manufacturing Practice regulations. These guidelines ensure that consumer products are both safe to use and meet quality standards.

The affected deodorants were distributed nationwide and sold through major retailers, including Walmart, Dollar Tree, and Amazon.

While A.P. Deauville has not publicly commented on the recall, the FDA advises consumers who purchased any of the affected products to stop using them immediately and dispose of them properly.
